Video about Workshop

Workshop Objective: To equip Christian mental health professionals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to apply my variation of the Four Blinks Version of the Flash Technique in their clinical practice, enabling them to achieve remarkable results in helping clients resolve trauma and any other distressing related to the past, present or future.

* Flash is a recently developed evidenced-based therapeutic intervention and Four Blinks is an adaption of that technique.

Workshop Content:

  1. Understanding How It Works: In this section, we'll explore how the Four Blinks Version of Flash operates. We'll see how it helps clients heal by focusing on their experiences rather than just knowledge.
  2. Putting it into Practice: In this part, you'll learn how to use the Four Blinks Version of Flash with your clients step by step. We'll create a safe space and guide clients through the technique. We'll also discuss how to handle situations where clients might feel overwhelmed.
  3. The Role of the Body: We'll emphasize how important it is to involve the body in the healing process. We'll explore how this approach takes care of both the mind and the body for holistic healing.
  4. Working with Different Parts: We'll focus on understanding and working with different aspects of a person's self. This is key to making the technique effective. We'll also discuss the importance of getting consent from your clients.
  5. Containing Memories and Self-Help: We'll look at how to contain memories in a way that makes healing easier. We'll also discuss how clients can use this technique on their own between sessions to help themselves.
  6. An Open Approach: The Four Blinks Version of Flash is an open-source technique. That means it's not owned by anyone, and it can be adapted and used in different ways. This opens up opportunities for future developments.
  7. A Biblical Approach: I will share how this therapy harmonizes with scripture and share my adaptions for our Christian clients.

Why This Workshop? The Four Blinks Version of Flash is a unique and highly effective way to help people who have experienced trauma. This workshop will give you the tools and understanding you need to bring fast and meaningful healing to your clients, no matter what kind of distress they're facing sometimes in as little as ten to fifteen minutes.

Conclusion: I'm passionate about sharing this transformative approach with my fellow mental health professionals. I believe this workshop can bring a revolution to therapy.

Forrest Reunion

History & Mission of The P.E.A.C.E Network

Founders Brian Henderson, Dori Rhodes, and Ruth Wilson, understanding the unique needs of Christian therapists, envisioned an annual Workshop utilizing Christian presenters who could provide quality training, while integrating Christian faith principles into their presentation. Through their hard work and dedication, The P.E.A.C.E. Network and annual Workshop was birthed.

The goals of P.E.A.C.E. include providing:

  • An annual Workshop for Christian therapists, with an opportunity to receive CEU credits required for licensure renewal

  • An opportunity to fellowship and network with other Christian therapists

  • An opportunity to get to know other Christian therapists they feel comfortable referring to serve the emotional needs of Christians looking for counseling from a faith-based perspective

Attenders must be active therapists, or full-time, actively enrolled counseling students.
